Toys, games, puzzles, stuffed animals
Pots, pans, utensils, china cups, vases, dishes, cutlery, glassware, silverware, stemware
Jewelry, crafts, mugs, candles, pictures/frames, baskets, ornaments, hand tools
Hardback and paperback books, magazines, records, tapes, CDs, videos, DVDs, computer software
We would like to stay away from the following as it will be difficult to store and haul:
All chairs, tables (dining, kitchen, coffee, end, computer, night stand, patio), dressers, hutch, armoire, bookcase, cabinets, entertainment centers
Exercise & outdoor
Bicycles, golf accessories, garden tools, sports equipment, exercise equipment, skis
Items we can NOT accept:
Tires, mufflers, fenders, etc.
Beds & bedding parts
Hide-a-beds, bunk beds, mattresses, box springs, waterbeds, coil springs, etc.
Lumber, pipes, floors, tubs, cabinets, carpet, doors, windows, etc.
Note: some items in this category may be sellable, such as faucets, light fixtures, stained glass windows, hardware, decorative items.
Torn, soiled or in need of repair
Any items that operate on or contain fuel including: gas cans, propane cylinders, barbecues, lawn mowers, weed trimmers, camp stoves, tiki torches, etc.
Batteries, paints, chemicals, cleaning products, poisons, any liquids, etc.
Car seats, cribs and related products
Note: accepting these items is restricted by law.
Refrigerators, dishwashers, furnaces, stoves, washing machines, etc.
Boats, canoes, kayaks, etc.
Televisions & computer monitors
Large televisions in cabinets, CRT “tube” televisions and monitors.
Note: we do accept LCD, LED or plasma flat screens.
Firearms, explosives, ammunition, flares, etc.

The Granby Venture Crew is looking for your gently used old clothing and small housewares and some baby items. These donations will be delivered to Savers who will be rewarding the crew for their efforts in collecting. The more we collect, the better our reward!

The clothing drive is back in shape and reset for Sept. 17 at TWO locations in town. We will be at the Kellogg Hall tag sale (8 am - 3 pm) as well as East Meadow School with the Recycling Day (9 am - 2 pm).
